repealedLurking house-trespass or house-breaking in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment
Whoever commits lurking house-trespass or house-breaking, in order to the committing of any offence punishable with imprisonment, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, and shall also be liable to fine;

धारा 453 मधील मूलभूत शिक्षेपेक्षा येथे शिक्षा वाढवली जाते, कारण लपून किंवा बलपूर्वक घुसखोरी ही जेव्हा इतर कैदेस पात्र गुन्हा करण्याचे साधन म्हणून केली जाते, तेव्हा केवळ घुसखोरी किंवा उद्देशविरहित घरफोडीपेक्षा ती अधिक धोकादायक मानली जाते.
