repealedHouse-trespass in order to commit offence punishable with death
Whoever commits house-trespass in order to the committing of any offence punishable with death, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with rigorous imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

ही तरतूद अतिगंभीर गुन्ह्याच्या तयारीसाठी घरात अनधिकृत प्रवेश झाल्यास शिक्षेत मोठी वाढ करते. कारण अशा वेळी अनधिकृत प्रवेश हा स्वतःत उद्दिष्ट नसून, खूनसारख्या कायद्याने सर्वाधिक गंभीर मानलेल्या हानीची पूर्वतयारी असतो. अनधिकृत प्रवेशाच्या शिक्षेला इच्छित गुन्ह्याच्या गांभीर्याशी जोडल्याने त्या घुसखोरीचा प्रत्यक्ष धोका कायद्याला योग्य प्रकारे दर्शवता येतो.
